I didn't realize Legos weren't popular with kids prior to putting batteries in it. I work at a toy store and it's insane how every toy has some electric/interactive component or even an app. Look at Lego "Hidden Side" and "Vidiyo." Times are changing. Even Hape, a very notable brand of wooden toys is adding electronic stuff to their shit.
