Poll of the Day > Man, I just witnessed one of the craziest thing I ever saw

So I was out drinking with some buddies and 1 of them got too drunk and started puking on himself and his gf so me and his gf bring him into the bathroom to get him cleaned up. His gf said some rude comment to a guy in the bathroom and he starts swinging on her so my drunk friend tries to get in the way and I try to pull my friend off and the other dudes friends rushed over and tried to pull him off. My friend ends up with huge gashes in his forehead because the dude knocks him to the ground and keeps swinging and I get knocked over too and got a bloody nose but by the time I got up his friends had got him out of there so I had to keep pressure on the wound with some paper towels until the paramedics and cops came. I have never seen an assault like that in my life, the other guy is probably gonna get off too.

This all happened about an hour ago and I just got home after talking to the police.

It sounded like his beef was with her and not the boyfriend, though. That said, he shouldnt have hit her. If all she did was say rude things, he should just say rude things back... No hitting unless/until she hits him...

Yeah kinda, the thing is that it used to be worse. They went from drinking to excess and getting in some kind of trouble weekly (around 2019) to drinking less and not getting in trouble for the last 2ish years. Last night they just went overboard for the 1st time in a while and turned out bad.

I still feel like I should have done something more
