I mean, the character he played for a good part of his WWE Career was basically a twist on Johnny Cage personality-wise. Not a weird choice. I actually wouldn't be opposed to it, despite the fact I never much cared for him in the WWE.

Honestly The Miz has impressed me with stuff before, be it in wrestling or outside of it. Definitely not someone I'd have picked without it being suggested to me but I do think he might be capable of pulling it off.

Sure, why the fuck not. I don't think he's ever been in a position where he wasn't considered, "unqualified" at the start of it, but he always seems to wind up acclimating way quicker than I would ever expect.
