My arm was sore on both Pfizer shots but on the 2nd one it hit me immediately. I felt the pain radiating up my neck on the drive home, had chills the next day but nothing too bad.

I started getting a headache about 4 hours after the 2nd shot and it was all downhill from there for the next 12 hours. Once the fever broke, I was pretty much back to normal after I got a full night of sleep. YMMV

I started getting chills and a fever about 12 hours after my second Pfizer shot, as well as the arm being much more sore than after the first dose. I had some pretty restless sleep that night, but I was back to normal in the morning.

that happened to me. i couldn't lift my arm up or else it hurt.
walking dog was fine. but reaching for the microwave on the top of a fridge causes it to do that.

also to note: i ended up getting fatigue for most of the day (ended up tired for 6 hours).

First shot for the majority of people (including me) is a sore arm for 2-3 days. Wasn't bad and as a person who hates needles/injections, it was the quickest thing. Like someone just slightly pinched me to get my attention.

Everyone has different reactions to the shot, or none at all. That sumbitch is gonna hurt at the site of injection though and be sore for a while.

I dont usually do well with shots, but this one wasnt too bad aside from the soreness afterwards. It lasted for like 2-3 days for me, but Im sort of weirded out by the fact that I still have a prominent bruise. I didnt feel like I had a fever or anything like that, but Im already going to not make any serious plans for shot day and the day after it.

Youll be perfectly fine. You will feel soreness in your shoulder muscle for a day or two, but nothing debilitating. The injection didnt hurt very much.

how I get

How do you schedule the shot? I got mine on Walgreens website. Just sign up (its easy) and follow the steps on the homepage. I live in a city with a pretty dense population and I was able to find an appointment the first time I tried, practically in my neighborhood.

Getting my first one tomorrow. I forget which one, but I think it's Moderna? My dad is getting his 2nd one the day after, I believe. He said he felt like shit after the first one, so we're both afraid of what the second one will do to him, although he also said he got very little sleep the night before, so that was probably a factor.

Meanwhile, my mom got the J&J one right before they pulled it back, so she's all good to go. She said after about 8 hours or so, she was ready to die for about 4 hours, then felt fine.

Supposedly Advil and the like really helps, and fortunately I've got plenty. But despite wanting to just get it over with, I'm not looking forward to this shot tomorrow, and I'm REALLY not looking forward to the second (which, due to availability of appointments, likely won't be until a month after this first one, instead of 3 weeks)

The person that administered my first shot didn't have any idea what they were doing, and jammed that shit in my arm. Felt like someone stabbed me with a hot pin, and I bleed alot. The person that administered my second shit knew what they were doing, felt almost nothing, and little to no blood. Just had sore muscle on the arm.

Its fine. Most of us are probably overreacting a bit. I hate shots and I got through it fine.

The biggest thing for me is I hate waking up sick. I get vertigo that can be triggered by certain sleeping positions, so I wake up very nauseous sometimes.

So the thought of planning on doing something that could make me wake up sick makes me anxious.

Still worth it!

2nd dose of Pfizer had me feeling achey and I probably had a small fever, but it wasn't anything aspirin didn't take care of.

Not looking forward to my second dose, but it beats getting covid.

Did you ever have the coronavirus? They say that its worse if you had the virus and your symptoms seem like theyre on the extreme end.

they got the approval to restart again. it doesn't go into play immediately. walgreen's used to administer it (was the only choice at the time).

also to note: certain cutoff in chance to get the J&J before it was pulled because women got blood clots 3x more likely then men with an awfully low percentage chance for men.

They say that you cant smell anything if you have the coronavirus. It might be nothing, but definitely consider canceling if youre feeling worse tomorrow.

I got my second Pfizer shot while 40 weeks pregnant and I was fine. A sore arm and some fatigue next day. I think most get some symptoms but a lot of people act very extra about it so it causes everyone to feel anxious about it. Its really not that bad. No different than how I feel after my yearly flu shot.

I think there's something to this. I have a 96 oz jug for water. I kill it everyday. I was 3/4 through it and got my 1st shot. As I mentioned in post #39, I had nothing in terms of side effects.

tbh the mRNA ones (pfizer and moderna) seem to be the best of the bunch as far as efficacy goes. I've got dose 2 of pfizer coming up in a week and a half.
