For movies they do very well but for MCU movies they don't. I'm happy we get them because I enjoy them but ant man and the wasp grossed the least out of its phase

Well the point was about killing the character meaning they can't be recast/show up again. So it does matter quite a bit.

if only they didn't just do an entire show about how he still feels guilty about it and redeeming himself. Feel free to use black widow if you want to remain an insufferable. Or hawkeye now that he just murders whoever he wants after the snap. Not to mention black panther ends up adopting his mantra of helping others and not keeping to themselves just without all the murder.

Michael B Jordan is charismatic as fuck, sexy as fuck, and people love his character even if he was a 'bad' guy. No one but insufferables would care. And insufferables are fueled by their own misery, so everyone wins.

Killmonger was a bad guy. Also too inner-city American to fit into Black Panther

Hawkeye only killed criminals. Makes him no different from countless action movie protagonists.

Right, he's not even the only person that kills in the Avengers....

Hawkeye became a murderer passing "judgement" after his family was dusted. The rest of the avengers at least tried to move on.

It would be weird for Kilmonger to go from "I want Wakanda to take control of the Earth" to "I'm not dead and I'm gonna be more like T'Challa now" but I guess it depends on the execution.

They could just go the Batwoman season 2 route and do a completely new character that needs to take up the mantle for whatever reason.

They're both highly capable and committed to the cause. Shuri is fine as the resident genius, supporting them with new tech, like Q does with James Bond.

Okoye seems the logical choice from a most badass fighter in Wakanda stand point. She has proven that she is loyal to the throne, not factions, and she's already the head of the Wakandan armed forces. Throw in a little magical fruit that will somehow still have survived and there you go.

I got a feeling the new Black Panther will not be a woman.

The actress's dumb anti-vax moment is not the only reason she shouldn't be given a Marvel lead. I don't think anything about her appearances so far have shown her to be able to carry a movie.

like it would be weird for black panther to go "wakanda first and only" to "hey the bad guy had a good point, maybe with a little less murder". Black Panther already sets it up, find a middle ground, there are plenty of strong side characters to be a moral backbone. Killmonger already got 85% of what he wanted at the end of the movie.

Honestly maybe we don't get just "one" Black Panther. Maybe it'll somehow become a shared legacy. Similar to how they turned Flag-Smasher from a single villain in the comics into an entire terrorist organization in the MCU. Because Shuri, Okoye, M'Baku and Nakia all have a legitimate claim to the mantle. Hell, Killmonger too if they decided they wanted to bring him back for whatever reason and turn him into a good guy/anti-hero.

They should recast the character. I'm sorry that Chadwick Boseman is no longer with us, but retiring the character won't bring him back. The world needs T'challa.

I do think that it makes more sense to recast the character but I don't feel like they're going to.

They have two multiverse movies coming out. They could easily have him switched out with a version of himself played by a different actor from a different universe. Theyre not gonna, but the point is they could.

I am surprised they didn't announce a Young Avengers movie or TV show, I assumed based on WandaVision, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, that they were doing a Young Avengers thing.

Theyre definitely doing YA, but its presumably still a few years out. I assume theyll probably be a little less coy about it once Multiverse of Madness reintroduces Billy and Tommy. Well also have a few more members by then.

That's definitely a lot of movies, but these movies are probably the best bet in not only gauging theaters after the pandemic, but also key in bringing people back. So Disney is basically gonna be doing a lot to revitalize the theater market by coming out with a new movie every 2 months.

The crazy thing about it is that if they're still years away from doing it then chararacters like Eli will need recasting because they won't look "young" anymore, which kinda negates the point of sowing the seeds.
