I just moved to NC and it's awful around here, I think I've left swiped 350+ compared to liking one actual profile. It is, it doesn't cost anything to send out likes. However, you can send 'roses' which go to the top of the list of their inbox. I think you get one free one a week. Also there's a category called standouts which the only way you can message them is by sending a rose.
