Basically, the frame fell apart and the lens wont stay in now. It looks like you can fix it with a screw, but you cant. It was some stupid kind of pin that snapped off.

I need some tips on how to get them to stay together, please. This is my only pair of rx sunglasses and I need them on a daily basis.

Looks like a weld broke.
Tape or wire it together best you can, then go to the nearest eyeglass place. Pretty much all of them do repairs.

unfortunately, if it's something that snapped off, it looks like you're either going to need to take it in for repairs at a glasses shop or buy a new pair.

I actually did get them locally, but theyre so old that I need to replace them anyway. I managed to fix them (for now) with some garden twine. Im about to call to set up a new appointment, so I think they might get me through.

Stores sell glasses repair kits with extra screws

These screws may not be the correct size, but should work until you can get them to the place you bought them to get them to put in the correct screw.
