At 11:58 the guy knocked on your door, set his shoes inside , put on booties and delivered your shit. I chatted a couple guys up and they earn a decent salary they can support a family on. For example, the dishwasher didn't come with a 3/4in to 3/8in swivel elbow adapter for some reason (it came with a 3/8in supply line hose and drain tube though). The delivery team said they have the swivel elbow adapter if they want to install it, but they don't want to install it because: a) My drain line is pre-installed weirdly (not to the garbage disposal but to the drain plumbing directly), and b) The dishwasher electrical hookup is a direct hookup and not a plug (they said they don't do electrical except plug it in). They didn't even offer to pre-install everything up to that point (take it out of the box, level it, install misc. components, etc.). Im pretty sure Home Depot sent the garden guy to install my microwave since he rolled up with it on the back of a lawn care trailer. Second, installer is a paying job.
