Ask how he got to be where he is, get some tips on moving up in the field. Plus, people like to talk about themselves.

Any goals you have that are realistic to attain from the business
like if you wanted to go be a sysadmin adn started an intern maybe something like learning about networking to help get you ready for your network+ cert or even CCNA

If the meeting is taking place in their office then try to look around and talk about something he has there.
By connecting on an emotional level he'll remember you in a positive way.

More medical I suppose, though my field can bridge into IT and informatics as a specialty.

I'd just look into where you want to be in 3 years and decide what skills you think are needed and present that to him/her
Like a speciality area if you were a surgeon and wanted to focus on surgenoning hands.

Alright, thanks for your advice, hoping I get a part-time or per-diem job here after I graduate, but it's a rough job market for my profession, so I'm going to tell him I'm not expecting anything tbh.
