Technically, the guinea pigs are the ones who participated in the clinical trials, but... Some people just aren't gonna be reasonable about it

As a resident of Ohio, I'm not thrilled about them dropping all of the restrictions flat out like this. Though I don't expect most businesses to change their mask and distancing policies any time soon.

But I will give props for finally just coming out and saying "fuck it, if they won't do it because it's the responsible thing to do, maybe we can just fucking pay these idiots to do it."

Yeah, Im worried this will lead to a lot of unnecessary drama.

Civilian vs civilian, and civilian vs business

Ohioan here too, and I think it's more to do with the fact that the vaccination rate has slowed down so much that it's not really worth keeping things closed down if this is the best turnout we're going to get. I think we're around 38% vaccinated and I'm hoping with the lottery we can get close to 50%. I know when I got my first shot there was a line, but when I went back a month later to get my second there were only 3 people there.

I thought it was a bit higher. I remember hearing 41% had gotten their first shot like a month ago
