Current Events > I swear I have bad luck... Weird incident while I was driving home.

I was coming home from a certain location at work. I got on the high way right behind a San Antonio Water System (SAWS) truck. We were both in the right lane on the highway. I moved into the next lane to the left. That's when I noticed an orange cone that was mounted on the front of the SAWS truck. It was wobbling like crazy. Then it fell off the truck. I tried to avoid it, but there was traffic and I didn't want to hit someone else. I moved just over the lane line, but it still hit the right side of my car.

I called SAWS with the info and they're going to email me a claim form so that they can start an investigation.

Is it me or maintenance crew being extremely careless.
My sister just ran over some sort of construction block on the highway and damaged her front driver side tire.
Luckily she had warranty.

i dont drive behind these trucks for this reason yet I see people still tailgating them

Don't know what the local trash pickup guys were thinking or doing last Friday.

The guys who pick up yard and other trash must have left a door or hatch open or something.

Driving to get smokes and booze I seen a busted Rubbermaid in the road, a little ways down a lamp shade, then a half bag of clothes in the street.

On my way back I seen where someone had moved them off to the side into the grass.
