There's a good YT doc on danger music that I don't really want to look for right now but the Japanese scene is, or was, insane. Huge fan of Illenium too. Nice you know what's up. I'd recommend Rushdown label if you want to get into colour bass which is a more brosteppy melodic dubstep. It's like melodic dubstep in 4K. Personally, Wakaan has been my favorite label recently. It focuses on freeform bass, hybrid trap, glitch hop, and overall experimental alien sounding bass music. Liquid Stranger is a good example. The melodic riddim stuff like Papa Khan and Ace Aura is eargasmic. Then there's Phonon sounding future riddim stuff that's really stretching the genre. Recent developments in tearout is making it the most savage headbanging dubstep too. Riot's Revenge youtube channel has a lot of it. Tearout has 2 meanings. It can mean the proto-brostep/filthstep of the late 00s or the more recent deathstep/briddim influenced sort of bangers. It's like melodic dubstep in 4K. Personally, Wakaan has been my favorite label recently. It focuses on freeform bass, hybrid trap, glitch hop, and overall experimental alien sounding bass music. Liquid Stranger is a good example. The melodic riddim stuff like Papa Khan and Ace Aura is eargasmic. Then there's Phonon sounding future riddim stuff that's really stretching the genre. Recent developments in tearout is making it the most savage headbanging dubstep too. Riot's Revenge youtube channel has a lot of it. Tearout has 2 meanings. It can mean the proto-brostep/filthstep of the late 00s or the more recent deathstep/briddim influenced sort of bangers. Nawtystep is a good youtuber that focuses on dubstep you might want to check out. I love Wakaan and most of Liquid Strangers stuff too!
