I've been suspicious of what the quality of the channel would be like now that the only person who liked games is gone, and I see a number of Nerd videos have come out recently. Are they worth watching?

I haven't seen an AVGN video in years, Rolfe seems to be phoning it in at this point

It's kinda like 'Garfield': at some point you realize every comic is the same joke and move on with your life

This. However, the one right before it (the Vegas one) was very lackluster, probably unless you know what its referencing.

This is also true as well, especially with the Screenwave guys handling everything else now. All AVGN does is read his lines, and he's long since exhausted the games he played as a child in the 80's and early 90's, so some of that genuine rage/frustration he could channel is lost.

AVGN hasn't really made his own content in years, and in recent years it's become abundantly clear that he barely knows anything about his own interests, let alone games.
