Been a nice, quiet few months. Great for getting lifts in before or after work.

Yesterday, though? Worse than the last three January 2nds combined. Went at three different times throughout the day, and left almost immediately because it was way too crowded to do anything. Unmasked, barely sanitizing anything when they're done, not wiping down equipment, big groups huddled around equipment, four or five dudes standing around watching their friend bench; all the little gym annoyances I got used to not dealing with for the last year, lol. Only worse because, yknow... only 30% of people have actually gotten vaccinated for anything

I hope to God all of these people are vaccinated, because if not, this is proof positive that we deserve whatever next wave we get.

Those gyms usually have a pecking order on the equipment. Depending on who is more chad

Where like more than half the shit they're using isn't FDA approved or even safe either(i.e. Sarms)

This is why I've spent around $3000 on home fitness equipment since the pandemic began. I will never ever go back to a gym ever. Even without the covid risk the crowds there tens to be really bad.

Son of a bitch, I jinxed it. Because like 1 hour after posting this, my wife and I went and there was legitimately like 20 people crowded around our 3 bench press spots when we got in :|

Of course things such as gyms, amusement parks and cruise ships are luxerys people that dont take covid seriously will generally congregate.

And frankly, any who try and utilize these facilities regardless of their own precautions are just as much a part of the problem as the ones they criticize in my opinion.
