I know it's unfinished and Kentaro Miura just passed away, but I keep hearing how great it is, but it also looks like a daunting read with hundreds of chapters. What do you guys say? :0

Fuck yes, it has some of the most beautiful art ever, also It is the progenitor of a ton of tropes and games.
If you like dark souls or giant swords or dark fantasy, it's a must.

For the history lesson, but nothing else. So much of Guts & Berserk has bled into everything else, you basically already know the story. Read the original if you wanna learn how the sausage was made.
