Something I enjoyed about Super Mario Odyssey (at least if you focus on only the main, necessary moons) is that it always feels like youre quickly moving on from one gameplay function (and world) to another before they get stale and repetitive.
Its always been the curse of open world games for me despite how massive and detailed they are. Are there any other games that keep things feeling fresh and exciting from start to finish? ... Copied to Clipboard!

Thats something that made me love the original Max Payne so much. Despite the gameplay being straightforward for the most part, the linearity worked to its benefit because you were always quickly moving on from one type of environment to another in real time.
