I mean really there are many threads about mask, but when it comes to smoking there are 0 thread, the thread I created got closed due to inactivity.

Here is a fact by putting restriction on smoking and banning it, that will help improve people health. That will help reduce COVID spread and anyone that gets COVID, it will help reduce the danger.

Smoking damages the lungs, which COVID attacks the lungs in its final stage.

People that smokes says they should have the freedom to smoke anywhere, but what about the people that dont want to breathe their cigarette smoke, why dont we have that freedom to not breathe their smoke.
Last I remember breathing in people cigarette smoke is harmful, while a person not smoking doesnt cause harm.

MedeaLysistrata I agree with you vehicles fumes is bad, that is why I havent got a car. I rely on my legs to walk and if my legs are injured really bad then I will rely on buses.

IfGodCouldDie Here if you want to smoke in a park, you are allowed. You want to smoke near the entrance and exit of a shop you are allowed, you want to smoke near a business, restaurant and takeaways you are allowed there is no distance restriction or anything like that.

The only place a person isnt allowed to smoke outdoors is outside kid school to pick up their kids or kids playground.

Swimming pool and beach smoking is allowed with no restriction at all.

Sorry to hear about your shitty local laws and regulations though. That's lame. Also most smokers I know don't at all think they should have the right to do it anywhere, and the majority are courteous enough to walk away from people if they light up, even where smoking is allowed.

As somebody who enjoys a smoke or two on the weekends I agree. I should be able to smoke on my property, however I do think it should not be in public for the reason you said.

As long as Im only effecting me it should be fine but not making other people breathe it in
