19 y/o Shae Taylor from California is a recovering anorexic who nearly died as a result of her eating disorder in her past has now opened up about her recovery..and the attack she is now getting on instagram by trolls because she is now PLUS SIZE!!

She was diagnosed with anorexia and bulimia when she was 14 and began restricting her food intakes to lose weight

The nanny would refuse to eat for days at a time in hopes to get thin fast and exercised until she passed out

But despite dropping at a worrying speed, she cried looking at herself in the mirror not believing she was thin enough and was fat and ugly no matter how skinny she actually was

She kept it a secret from her praents, 51 y/o Karen and 52 y/o Travis by eating with them and then purging the food later

It wasn't until her friend Julie told her parents who then sought a therapist for her to deal with her eating and then to an eating disorder clinic for a year

It didn't work and she kept losing weight and eventually became hospitalized in 2019 when doctors said she had 3 days to live if she kept at this..

That was the reality check she needed to change her life and she realized there was much more to life than losing weight and counting calories

After leaving the hospital, her eating habits changed and she started eating foods she was scared of..ice cream and pasta.

It was tough but she remained committed and now she loves herself more after changing her relationship with food

She was once called a ZOMBIE by a boy in school because she thin she looked and now people online have been calling her "fatty" and "thunder thighs" since she's gained weight since.

She won't let those people put her down and will continue to tell her story to tell people to love themselves because you can be plus size and healthy

This fall she's going to college for the first time and is moving into her first apartment as her relationship with her family, friends and food has been for the better and she is committed to telling girls her story..and she even has a BOYRIEND who helps her along the way.

One day people will understand and recovery can be overwhelming and scary and yes she gained weight but she also gained back her life, strength and confidence..and wearing BIKINIS is one of her favourite things to do in the summer

It's not actually uncommon for recovering anorexics to end up overweight, simply because they're incapable of dieting healthily. It's similar to alcoholism in that way: there is no way for a recovering alcoholic to drink in a responsible, healthy way, so they just avoid it altogether. Anorexia is a matter of compulsively taking "I feel like I need to lose weight" to a dangerous extreme, so recovering from it entails just not letting oneself feel that way. If she's managed that, good on her.

Maybe by a subset of the population but the majority of people still think pro athlete, chiseled, super muscley bodies are the gold standard

Also there are plenty of guys out there that like bigger women

that hasnt been my perception when it comes to many women

Most women I've talked to have expressed they aren't that in to the chiseled pro athlete body.

Some of the most common likes in guys are from people ('ve talked to:

Muscular/toned, but not excessively so.
Body hair that is well managed
Proper grooming in general; facial hair well taken care of, hair properly cut, etc.
Clean teeth / fresh breath
Taller than the girl (most girls i've spoken with wont date guys shorter than them)
And lastly, confidence. Women like a guy who doesn't seem wishywashy, speaks with certainty, and is able to take charge in a situation (no i don't mean like rape I mean like, "Hey lets go on a date to X location" instead of "Hey I think I want to go on a date where do you want to go")

Whats wonderful about this, is that the above list is fairly easily obtainable by almost any guy, they just have to put in a little effort. You don't need to spend hours in the gym to achieve this, you just need to do a bit of basic exercise everyday, and spend a little bit of time on grooming.

Can confirm. I see all over both straight/gay dad bod men being simped over by both women and men. There's some men that like bigger women but they're the minority. People get mixed up between thicc and big/fat. A lotta guys like thicc girls which means you got a big ass and boobs with a FLAT stomach and relatively narrow waist. NOT a gut like on a dad bod.
