real tip for parrying is just to practice on weaker enemies to get the timing down, balder knights in undead parish are good for it. The timing is super fickle though I rarely even try and normally only use parries on Gwyn

Yeah I have so many games that I should play but I keep going back to the same few games that are fun to me.

So is it better to just chip him down for half an hour?

I haven't played Dark Souls in a long time but if you have a decent health pool and something with decent physical and fire resistance and a lot of poise like the full set of Havel's Armor, you can tank Gwyn's attacks without getting knocked back while trying to get the timing down to parry his attacks.

You can parry him mid combo.

His grab is one of the only attacks you can't parry so you have to dodge it although I think there was another one you couldn't parry which I think was the leap towards you but I might be wrong.

I believe there is also a shield that extends the parry timer but I can't remember what it was. Again, it's been a long time.

None of this really helps if you mostly rely on spells though.

Normally I buy a game once I've finished the current one I'm playing however I now have a backlog. This is because I've lacked motivation to play video games lately yet I'm still buying them. I'll get back into them soon.

You can parry him mid combo.

I always feel weird using the heavier armor because of the slower roll, but I could give it a shot.

Last time I tried, I was only able to accurately parry one specific attack that was like, the second hit in a combo? Which made it riskier lol.

I don't use magic, just melee and a shield. I equipped the ring which gives your counters more damage

Its probably my favourite AC game to date sans the BS programming. You get a wicked reward for finishing the new DLC in Ireland.

You eventually use them all. I recommend bear branch, personally. Wolf is archery and Raven is assassin.

I have well over 100 games installed on my external (mostly indie games) and plenty more I have yet to even download so it's safe to say I'll never clear my backlog unless I never buy a single game ever again (that won't happen) and just rush through the games and not care about 100 percent or the platinum (this will never happen either since I have OCD when it comes to completion especially when a plat is involved plus I hate rushing games)

In a way I'm okay with this since it's nice to have a variety of games as opposed to limiting yourself to a couple of games at most

Ok so I started Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and the load times are absolutely criminal. How do you expect people to enjoy your soulslike game when it forces you to sit and wait for five minutes between deaths?
