The real answer is that you are supposed to hang out w/friends and do stuff until you meet someone by proxy. People w/lots of friends are never single for long. The problem is that we are all posters on CE and many here don't have many friends. I have been dating as a loner for several years. The avenues I need to use are dating websites, coffee places, places you go to get drunk. Dating is difficult and usually not even worth the trouble. When I see one, I don't just jump in and hit on her as soon as she steps out if her car. Like taming a mighty tiger, you have to get her used to your presence first.
