Only Netflix original movies I have seen and remember of the top of my head are Bright, Bird Box, Project Power and The Old Guard.

I would rank Bright the highest (had the most fun with the setting idea and less of an obvious attempt to just set up the setting for more entries), Bird Box the lowest (good but very singular and cannot think of a reason to watch it again).

Both Project Power and The Old Guard are good, but are too much more set-up than proper movies in their own right. Meaning I have no idea which I would rank higher than the other.

Meaning my answer would be an honourary mention of Bright till I have seen more Netflix Originals.

Extraction is the best and Chris Hemsworth's best movie. Besides that I watched Bird Box which was cool but coulda been a lot better, and the Old Guard which was good. Murder Mystery is underrated I found it enjoyable even though it was very cliche. I was supposed to watch Project Power but haven't gotten around to it. Haven't heard of the rest.

I think Ive only seen Bird Box, Murder Mystery, and The Old Guard. And I had 3 or 4 on my list. Not sure which one I liked best... They were all good, though. That said, I have seen Murder Mystery the most out of those since I watched it alone, and then with my BF, and with a friend at work... The ones on my list were Extraction, 6 Underground, Project Power, and maybe Army of the Dead...

Of that list, I've only seen Spenser and Murder Mystery. I barely remember Spenser, other than the bathroom scene and the stuff with the airport/stadium. I just know there was some conspiracy and... I'm wondering if I'm having some other details mixed up with an episode of the Blacklist where we meet the lead detective's brother.

Murder Mystery was one of the few really funny Adam Sandler flicks. I can't remember everything, but a lot more stuck in my head. I'd probably go with that.

Of the others:
Extraction - Haven't heard of it?

Bird Box - Was mildly interested

6 Underground - Read the wiki at one point, seemed like crap

The Old Guard - Haven't heard of it?

Enola Holmes - Popped up in my feed at one point, looked like shit.

Project Power - Looked like SJW crap so I wasn't interested. If I hadn't seen s1 of Black Lightning, I might have given it a chance.

The Midnight Sky - Haven't heard of it?

Army of the Dead - Only just learned it existed, but kinda indifferent towards seeing it

They're NF originals, meaning that you're only going to learn about them on NF and while they're in a suggested feed. It's not like normal movies where there are tons of trailers and commercials.

Extraction is that good? I avoided it after I heard what a stinker Blackhat was a few years ago and I figured Hemsworth was starring in mostly stinkers outside of the MCU

I think it was way better than any of his MCU stuff. Definitely had a John Wick thing going on with the action scenes. Only thing is if you don't like subtitles this movie isn't for you. A lot of it is in Hindi, its mainly set in Bangladesh. That said Hemsworth and the other mc who's from India were speaking English most of the time.

PS. I realised the trend with these Netflix movies is to get big name stars attached regardless of the actual quality, which varies wildly. So its Hemsworth with Extraction, Sandra Bullock with Bird Box, Charlize Theron with Old Guard (she was awesome btw), Jennifer Aniston with Murder Mystery, Jamie Foxx with Project Power etc. I mentioned Velvet Buzzsaw on here a few times that was good but campy. Surprised it's not on this list. Jake Gyllenhaal was the frontman for that.

Bright was okay. I was more interested in the lore (which was barely delved into) than the plot.

Titan had a really interesting premise, but I literally fell asleep half a dozen times trying to slog through it. It's just not a very well-paced film

Of those, Extraction is the only one that Ive seen and I actually liked it. I dont think I wouldve gone to the theaters to see it but for free it was worth it.

Bright is the one that finally made me really just generally ignore reviews for the most part. Reviewers shit on it so I went in with no expectations and was surprisingly pleased.

I'm kinda curious who many people who talked about having seen none (or heard of none) of these films have NF and whether they've seen other NF originals. Because while I've only seen 2/10 of those films, I have seen quite a few other NF originals (including some of the foreign language selection).

In general, NF has done a *lot* of originals so there should be something for everybody (even Judg). And the move towards offering more original content is a solid strategy because it means NF has a constant stable of non-rotating films unique to their platform.

That was the only thing that really intrigued me, but it wasn't enough to get me to watch another Will Smith buddy cop movie. It's kind of a shame that NF probably won't do more with the setting, such creating something like a Brightverse.

Another one I watched that's not on here was The Devil All the Time with Robert Pattinson. Didn't really like it. The Irishman is probably their biggest movie (in terms of scale and acclaim) but I never get around to watching it.
