After this movie became a worldwide hit, New Line grew into the powerhouse that would eventually release the likes of Rush Hour, The Mask and... The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

i dont get how turtles cant beat shredder but splinter can. yet splinter gets curbstomped by underlings while turtles toy with them with little effort.

One thing you gotta respect is how Shredder fights each one of them.

He fights Donatello with a rooted stance to combat his positional game and quickly takes out his leg when he gets an opening.

Mikey comes in fast and hard, so he quickly switches to offense to exploit Mikes lack of defense.

Raph flies into it with a series of hard, powerful strikes. Shredder tanks them until he has a chance to counter strike, which naturally wouldnt take long as stronger attacks leave you more open when blocked.

Leo was tricky because he uses misdirection, so he had to use combinations strikes using both ends of his spear, and managed to fend him off, but came out wounded.

This movie shows that you can make a dark movie and I can still actually SEE what the hell is going on.

Too many shows and movies film their stuff in inexplicably dark conditions, even those that actually have a high budget. Most modern movies have this problem, and HBO's stuff is pretty much rank with this, like Doom Patrol, or even other shows like Agents of Shield especially post season 5

Same here. This movie is a pretty decent in general, definitely probably the best turtles movie. 2 is just pure fun.
