Jerry thought he was Black, but Elaine wasn't so sure. The "evidence" presented in the episode: His name is Darryl Nelson, which basically ruled out George's theory of Irish. He hates rap music, but complains to his neighbors by yelling "Yo yo! Turn it down!" He has South African masks in his apartment, stating "My family used to live there. We got out years ago. For obvious reasons. You know how it is." He definitely isn't Asian though. He does state that Elaine and him are an interracial couple though. So he is seemingly not the same race as Elaine.
