Well to sum it up: The joke is to take out an M in the name "Thomm" to spell Thom. However due to the similarity of letters in the English alphabet there is no need to wonder which m to remove as they would both equally serve the same purpose.

I got it after a watched the video a second time. But not the first time. I had to have the joke told to me basically 4 times... But the time I actually got the joke was after Stewie told it the second time. So maybe that why it was funnier...

Yeah lol I like for the humor to flow naturally from daily life interactions.

I think its meant to be a reference to Seinfeld or modern comics who basically just describe their life
