So in Runeterra right now, the most dominant deck makes up nearly 1/4 of all decks played, and the only reason it isn't dominating the tournament meta is because the tournament meta is built to counter it.

Their response? A nervous to one of the cards of the deck that actually makes the deck better, and a straight buff to its core cards, almost no other changes.

I knew about TFT and LoL, this is the first I've heard of Runeterra so I googled their other game and didn't realize Valorant was a Riot game.

Yeah they've been expanding massively the last few years, they also have a fighting game and an anime.coming

Anyone's who followed LoL balance patches over the years knows that Riot is really bad at balancing the game.

Yeah I'm aware lol. This was particularly egregious though, it led to three of the tip content creators.for runeterra to threaten to leave the game, and forced riot to make a post saying more changes are coming

It's similar but you don't have to spend an arm and a leg for a deck and it's entirely reasonable to get every card free with no grind

I knew about the fighting game too, is the anime going to be LoL based? Because if so, I'd be hyped. I've always really liked the LoL characters and used to really enjoy the lore back when it had lore.

Yup it is. Just got announced, shortly after the Dota anime dropped. Both are Netflix exclusives lol

Hopefully it uses the lore more, I've heard the Dota one ignored Dota lore which is a shame :(

I'll be real honest, I don't like any of the Riot Games... games. I am looking forward to their fighting game "Project L" though but only because it's being led by the Cannon brothers, the same guys who helped with the creation of GGPO the best netcode we have for fighting games.

No they buffed her. They needed a couple elements of the deck but its still absurd, next patch should have some major changes they say.
