Consistently engaging, impressively well-plotted, but maybe a little saccharine. I think Ghost Trick particularly deserves praise for being unafraid to make its characters over-the-top and goofy which even though they aren't the deepest makes them much more likable and fun to watch than they might have been if they were always played straight and serious-minded.

I'm usually a fan of mysteries and conspiracies. Ghost Trick's is OK. Once a certain character shows up, the game's story really kicks into overdrive and carries it into the end. Before then, though, it's not too amazing.

I'd give the characters specifically a 9 though. Their personalities are what carries the game.

Cool premise that could have gone in some very interesting directions but ultimately chose not to in order to stick to its saccharine agenda as someone pointed out.

The highlights of the game are its gameplay/puzzles and animation, not the plot or characters.

Final Fantasy X 5 Just recently beat it for the first time and the story just is kind of boring during the middle section

I expected higher scores honestly!

8/10. As others have said it's a lot of fun and it all holds together remarkably well considering how zany it is, but I don't love it quite as much as some of its fans do (Also the ending, while solid, was a little much for me in places).
