Solar_Crimson 06/09/21 3:56:00 PM #1:	Those states being: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. However, unlike last time, no war is fought over this, and the states are allowed to form their own country without any major interference from the United States government. As the dust settles, the US then votes to instate Puerto Rico as the new 40th State of the US. The New Confederacy of America (I'd imagine that they'd pick a less on-the-nose name for themselves, but who knows) choose none other than Donald Trump to be its first President. We're the only ones capable to succeed in such a scenario... considering our economy is a surplus and would be ranked in the top 10, in the world, on its own. The USA needs a state like us in the union and would fight to keep Texas. They gain citizenship of a new country and retain US citizenship?
