They made the games way easier, and took out the gore and blood. The games are still pretty over the top action so you can still have fun, but don't expect any challenge, blood, or gore and you'll be fine.

From reviews so far, some of the stuff the above poster stated (they are the 'Sigma' versions) and some normally usual PC customization features are missing/non-existent as well; also some are complaining about the price point (on sale now for $35 Bucks for 3 games almost 10-20 years old)

But I never played them, so I still might get them (but might wait for the price to drop on them)...but that still average out to about 12 Bucks per game

To put in comparison to other games, you can get RE6/7, MGS:GZ and PP, MG:r, DMC4, SW:FO for around or less than $10-$15 Bucks when on sale

From looking it up it's a pretty awful port. Like, there is no fullscreen, you can only change resolutions manually with the steam launch commands, the only options are contrast and brightness (so no control remapping or anything like that). It's the sigma versions of 1 and 2.

Sigma 1 is slightly worse than ninja gaiden 1 black. It added some stuff, removed some stuff (for basically no reason) and nerfed enemies so that it's easier on all difficulties than black.

Sigma 2 is a completely neutered version of 2. It removed about 70% of the enemies, it removed the dismemberment system (which is a key aspect of the combat), it removed upgrading weapons with currency, it removed some weapons from the game entirely, it removed some modes entirely, blood is replaced with purple mist, all tests of valor were removed, hard mode enemy placements actually make the game easier than normal. The enemies that it did leave have massively increased health to compensate turning everything into a low threat damage spunge. It is vastly easier than ninja gaiden 2.

Ninja gaiden 3 is a garbage game made after the main developer left. It's like the metal gear survive of the franchise. The version included in this package is razor's edge which is an improved version but it's still pretty crap.

Don't think it would have been possible to release a worse port of the games.

The NES games were awesome. The Arcade game was even better.

These new-fangled 3D games don't look that great IMO. . .

^Eh, they were aiight platformer Action games for its time (esp the cutscenes), but you gotta admit the difficultly and the enemy spawn haven't aged well with the game

And yea, the OG Arcade was a fun Beat'em Up/Final Fight game

Like, there is no fullscreen

It's in there, you just have to click on the Steam Overlay Border or something...not sure
