I watched Hook yesterday for the first time in many years. I think anybody who cares already knows the trivia: it was originally intended as a sequel to the Disney animated movie, but changed studios. It's still a sequel to the Disney movie. The sets are the same, Hook is the same, and I don't believe a single word of dialogue was changed when they moved to Tristar. Tinkerbell even says, "You used to call me Tink."

Another one is Django Unchained. Django's wife is named Hilde Von Shaft. Quentin Tarantino envisioned Django as being an ancestor of Shaft.

I'm like 99% on this Cool World is a sequel / tangent story to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
