Yes and I have known a few who were considerably more down-to-earth and sane compared to the trigger-happy echo chambers online (some of them detest cesspools like Twitter). Mostly trans women, but I've had pleasant conversations with trans men too. To me as an outsider, there seems to be a surprisingly broad spectrum of views within trans communities, partly because of the diversity in where individuals come from. And by diverse I mainly mean they're not all stereotypical far left extremists hellbent on doxing and burning at the slightest disagreement. Quite a few of them speak out against that shit. And some of them take no offense to hearing someone politely imply they're not interested in dating trans partners. Most trans folk would prefer to date someone who accepts them in their entirety anyway...as they have their own preferences too. It's those reasonable and relatable interactions I was lucky enough to have with trans folk that taught me many of them are more than just political caricatures who all think the same. They were clearly gay the first time I went there but they transitioned over the course of the time that we went there. I will say that ........ they were naturally muscular with wide shoulders before they started transitioning which made it look a bit weird.
