She was 27. The cause of Skye's death is unknown as of press time, but an aunt of hers posted on her personal Facebook page Thursday afternoon that the death occurred at 2 p.m. Wednesday, and the coroner's report lists the place of death as a "recreational vehicle." Friend and industry figure James Bartholet also relayed to AVN that Skye's husband had confirmed to him that he identified her body this afternoon at the coroner's office. "Dakota was a dear friend and part of our industry family, and we are saddened by her loss," Bartholet said. "She still had so much more to give to the world and to the industry, and I'm just very saddened and at a loss for words. We wish all the best to her family, and we hope people respect their privacy and please remember her in a good way. Remember her for all the joy and pleasure she brought us." Skye entered the adult industry in 2013 and was nominated in 2015 for AVN's Best New Starlet award. She remained semi-active as a performer until last year, and had nearly 300 credits to her name, according to the Internet Adult Film Database (IAFD), spanning virtually every major production company. I didnt believe in this at first.. coming off medications prescribed by doctors was so hard for years. The break in the industry this year has May 29 At the very moment yes, I dont support working in these conditions or my condition during my road to healthiness atm. Maybe cam and content is the furthest I may go until I feel comfortable with the projects Id like to do but Im already 27 and planning a family as well. May 28 It was all for you and still is... and daddy and I miss you so much its starting to hurt worse and worse everyday but I will never lose hope until I have my answers.. May 28 Missing Eli so bad I cant sleep please god bring my baby home I cant imagine life without him ;( Anyone... please... who.. knows... anything... May 26 Its crazy how everyone thinks I JUST NOW finally am working some kinda program. I have been working rehab and therapy programs since I was an fucking child. Dont be a sheep. What programs can possibly help with a bunch of addicts in the same room? I even learned about worse drugs as a child instead of "weed" or "drinking" due to programs. I disagree with them and the only program I am working is trusting someone who has been here for me, seen how i act, react, and what triggers me ect.
