The further it stays away from She-Ra, the better.

Some of the designs look good, some don't, while most are close enough to the source material that they're inoffensive. However, I'm still gravely concerned by Kevin Smith's involvement.
The trailer looks fine. The animation looks updated for a new era, nothing (other than a few designs) looks all that crazy, and the story is a continuation from the 80s. Honestly, other than Kevin Smith's involvement, I would probably have pretty high hopes since it's a direct continuation and an update. The art, animation, and voices all seem to fit fairly well so it looks good overall.

Not a fan of the song, but the art/animation/style looks pretty good.
I'm nervous about the show, though. Most of the screenshots look pretty sweet, but I have a feeling it will be like 1 episode of the classic look/style and then it will bait and switch us into some updated crap. In particular, I'm worried based on the one picture in these screens: https://screenrant.com/masters-universe-revelation-show-images-release-date-netflix/ 3rd from the bottom shows Teela and Evil-Lyn looking very different. I have a sinking feeling that this will be about as good for the He-Man universe as the sequels were for the Star Wars universe. ... Copied to Clipboard!
