I think I'll actually get this one. SMB1 was stupid fun, but I never picked up any of the others. A remake of three of them sounds worthwhile to me.

I think I'm actually legitimately excited about this remake. These games hold more nostalgia for me than I realized. It's making me want to break out my GC copy of 1, but I'm resisting the urge because that would discourage me from buying this one and I do want to get it because I never played 2 (or Deluxe, though as I understand it's mostly just a combo pack anyway).

I still own Super Monkey Ball 2 but my Gamecube and Wii both stopped reading disks some time ago. 1 and 2 were easily two of my favorite games growing up and the soundtracks are full of bangers so I really hope the remake knocks it out of the park.
