He was set to be engaged, and I guess Pan got jealous and gunned him down in Connecticut before running away. He was finally arrested in Alabama after it seemed like he would never get caught. I had assumed he was dead or something, but he was living under a false name and paying for everything through cash. What a crazy world we live in.
