Both I guess. Twizzlers are better for the flavored stuff. The filled ones are amazing.

Probably Red Vine, but I like Twizzlers too. And the first bite of either one is luscious in their own way.

The strips in a Twizzler represent the blood, sweat and tears of a natural fruit flavor being stretched, ripped, extracted and compressed (not in that order) of a candy sent from lands uncharted directly home for you to enjoy

The strips in a redvine represent uhh... okay I guess that's why I never eat these

Neither, because I hate licorice.

But I've spent the majority of my life never knowing Red Vines even existed, because I never knew anyone who ate them and never really saw them in any stores. So I'd probably vote Twizzlers by default just for brand-recognition.

This quote from Wikipedia probably sums it up, though: "The brand manager of Red Vines speculates that the rivalry is essentially regional as Red Vines are more popular in the West and the Great Lakes region "but brand awareness tends to drop off once you go east of Denver" while Twizzlers, being "headquartered in Pennsylvania" trends stronger there and in the East Coast and Northeast."

Considering I tend to be of the mindset that the Northeast is the only part of the US that actually matters (or even exists), anything regional that is mostly from outside that area might as well be a fictional product to me.

I don't care for licorice, but the strawberry ones for this brand are really good. Perfect texture.

I like both but to me you have this completely backwards

red vines are more like classic style licorice, where twizzlers are almost waxy and more fruity

I see people eat far more Twizzlers than Red Vines in Arizona.

To each their own, I guess. If true I don't much like classic licorice. :) I find Redvines chewy and plastic-y, both in texture and taste. Maybe I've only had dried out ropes, I dunno.

I don't really like the cherry Twizzlers/bites/Nibs/etc, but the strawberry are pretty good.

YES!
They have the big bags of that at Big R. The green apple is just mouthwatering. Wasn't a fan of the blueberry, though. Tasted like liquid cold medicine...

Yeah, Redvines taste really processed and weird.

I actually love the cherry Twizzlers most but I can seriously NEVER find them. I don't think they even make them any more...

Their website (and Wal-Mart's) says they still make cherry flavor.

More importantly, they also still make the chocolate-flavored ones.

Twizzlers pull and peel is the only good Twizzlers product. Default Twizzlers are rather synthetic and nasty so I'll pick Red Vines over those any day.
