pre-pandemic for everyone else too, right?

It used to be 5 to 10 bucks to uber to my local bar, depending on how busy it was. Currently it's 15 to 30.

This is normal right

Not everyone has access to a vehicle or a designated driver.

Edit: also some peopel dont want to drive or are afraid to drive.

Eeehhhh, people are always saying stuff like, its cheaper than a dwi, right? But thats not even an option for me. Im not going to go out and drive drunk. My options are either uber out, or stay home. So yeah I feel like i have a right to bitch, it's getting expensive to go out.

Taxi: 56
Train: 42
Bus: 26
Uber: 18

Wat

its madness

And uber takes you right to the destination rather than a station 2 miles away

it's hiked up considerably in response to a driver shortage and policies ensuring the drivers receive a wage. the jig is up for us without cars.
