I had been working there for almost 2 years collectively (after a short time gone), and they tried to dick me around, saying that qualifying for FMLA required a year of continuous employment. It does not, and the only thing that kept me from being crippled and unemployed was knowing my laws and rights. That began my path to radicalization, starting with labor laws and organizations, which then leads into other leftist ideologies.
