It's amazing it's still not fixed. I was interested in picking it up a few months after release when it was fixed, but yeah, it's taken so long that I've slowly lost interest

It's never going to get "fixed" aka have a fully fleshed out open world. The highlights are the main story quests and major sidequesrs and the rest is just filler. Changing that would basically require years for them to make a completely different game. They still have performance issues and bugs to iron out even on PC, though.
I wouldn't call it forgettable, but I wouldn't call it good either. Some of the quests will stick with me but all of the best parts are just talking to people, so don't hold out any hope for the game becoming anything else. But if you just want to talk to cute cyber girls and boys and hang out with your pal Keanu then sure. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ... These are the fixes people are talking about Well the thing is a lot of these fixes are workarounds. On PC they "fixed" some of the performance issues by fucking up the draw distance. This PS4 patch "fixes" performance issues by just removing almost all of the NPCs and cars. The game is playable enough for PSN, but I honestly don't know how long it would take them to truly fix the problems. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
