Im just wondering why people come here the most.

It's probably pretty appealing to be able to find a community of other immigrants from your area, where a country like Switzerland might be a massive culture shock and super strict on deportation

freedom to go places

my parents and grandparents worked on socialized farms in the former soviet union for example. backbreaking labor for days, nothing to show for it besides rations.

Also this. If you are literally any type of ethnicity or culture, you can find many communities throughout the USA.

and you can participate in all of them to learn/enjoy each one too, lots of events all the time and more each year

there's definitely a mindset difference. most recently immigrated families tend to appreciate this place and work harder to scale their work and their communities. like there's data on immigrant families outperforming people who have been here for generations

That is because there's a large subset of people who have been here for generations that think private citizens tearing down a statue of a literal traitor is fascism. Meanwhile many immigrants know what fascism is actually like.

plenty of land to take advantage as well. around here i can buy 100 acres for $80k and not be bothered too much as far as what i can do on it (though this definitely varys heavily by county). taxes as long as youre out in the sticks are dirt cheap too.

degrees of freedom yes. in many EU countries the government can restrict free speech and expression, its why you've seen several countries restricting the wearing of hijab across europe.
