Please confirm if this is true:
Long running TV series' huge problem is cost. Every new season means new contracts which means upgrade in pay into everyone especially the main cast. So then they make these deals with the main cast such as paying per screen which degrades the show IMO. If you watch the first few seasons of The Walking Dead, you'll see the main cast together for the majority of time. The remaining casts now cost so much that the producers will rarely put the MCs together, things will be dragged out like crazy to fill the season, MCs will have their individual arcs to further drag shit away from the main plot. --- Don't like it?
