Has to be the Jack Baker chainsaw fight in resident evil 7. Clunky, unintuitive bullshit. And he kept killing me in like 2 hits.
Makes it worse when you go to reddit or something and everyone is "he's the easiest boss in the game you just have to keep hitting him with the chainsaw I beat him in one try"

This annoying glitch in the Mass Effect Remaster that causes the Mako to get stuck for no apparent reason. Gotten me killed a few times.

Also a similar glitch where Shepard gets stuck pointing in a certain direction. Also gotten me killed a few times.

Those were present in the original games too. Tits on a bull Bioware, can't you do anything right?

Path of exile, getting one shot by something off screen then lag into a pack of monsters and die. Great design GGG balance your fucking game instead of selling expensive mtx it's like $150 for a wing or pet cosmetic.

Most anytime I play a sports game. Rng is just so much more aggravating when it's simulating the real world.

Or a simish racing game with a rain race and no matter how straight my wheels are or how gentle I try to be on the throttle coming out of a corner

I made a new relief pitcher in MLB The Show and had to start in the minors, as expected. Sometimes I'll give up a hit with long hangtime, but the computer-generated outfielder lets it drop anyway, despite it being four feet away from where they started. They can expect a mailbomb after the game.

The last time i got legit mad was the day I quit competitive multiplayer games. I realized if i'm not having fun and getting angry at a fucking video game, what's the point.

Never played a multiplayer game after that (aside from cooperative ones) and never regretted my decision.

Yeah, somehow online gaming just feels so much more frustrating. Probably because socially there's more pressure (because you don't want people to think you suck, even when you don't even know them and never interact with them again.

This actually reminds me of a similar experience several years ago. I was playing a pretty frustrating high stakes game of Mass Effect 3 online, and got killed just before I reached the extraction zone just as time was about to run out.
I was literally screaming and swearing and punching stuff like never before, like I was turning into the Hulk.
Then as the game returned to the lobby I noticed from the audio icon that my mic was on.

I just left quietly and didn't come back for many months.

When I first started playing I was slaying out and my KDR was at 1.40 and climbing. Now I'm sitting at 1.24 and its slowly declining

An hour ago in Super Metroid.

There's a spiked pit in Norfair with narrow platforms across it, and I missed a jump and got stuck between the spikes and the platform with Samus in a forced crouch so she couldn't move, and the spike damage kept knocking me out of Morph Ball, so I was trapped there for a good 30 seconds until an enemy came along and bumped me out.

^ idk if you've done it, but if not, I recommend finishing the one business mini-game where you need to be number one.

the attack you get for that is super OP, and it helped me out many times during the endgame than I'd like to admit.

you should also stock up on SP replenishing items, if you wanna take advantage of that move.
