They said that doing weed will fry your brain and completely ruin your life. It seemed weird to me especially because both the main characters were in their twenties but this was practically an after school special about how bad weed is lol. Its interesting that just 20 years later weed is seen as mostly harmless and its being legalized in so many states. For that reason I avoid the stuff myself. And that's without touching on the impact to the lungs that smoking has. I've heard a lot of people say that smoking weed has no negative effects but carcinogens are still being inhaled into the lungs and almost assuredly have the same type of impact as cigarette smoking even if it's on a lesser scale. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz. I dont care what people put inside their bodies as long as it doesn't affect me, and YMMV of course, but looking back I wish I woulda never touched it, and I see people addicted to it all the time. When I was in high school they had loads of anti drug campains, I remember they had cops there talking about it, showing pics of hasch saying its super dangerous etc. So I believed it. But my views changed over the years and then tried it, and it actually was part of helping me overcome my mental breakdown and stopping drinking dangerously. Now I want it legalized but it prob wont even get decriminilized in my lifetime here. The message was "if you smoke weed that will lead you to trying heroin to eventually doing LSD" or something like that.
