(also the netflix dub is bad, apparently.) --- The only certain death in the universe is Mother Hitton's Littul Kittons. banananor 07/05/21 12:32:56 AM #5:	The dub is perfectly serviceable imho, even though I prefer the sub People got wound up about a few tonal changes that ultimately don't matter in the end I recommend watching the entire show, then seeing how you feel- whether you want to watch the recap movie before plowing into end of Evangelion --- You did indeed stab me in the back. UF8 07/06/21 11:01:38 PM #11:	the correct way to watch the movies is to remember to watch all of the japan animator expo and then spend 6+ years waiting before watching the last rebuild film for the "true" experience anyway jokes aside a lot of people talk about end of evangelion but i'd recommend revival of evangelion instead since it's end but with death(true)2 added, which is basically (the definitive edition of) a series recap for the bulk of the anime but with some extra scenes. the original death was in a film called death and rebirth which was basically the same thing as revival but it only has the first half hour or so of end of evangelion and therefore isn't really recommended alternatively i think death(true)2 and end of evangelion are both on netflix individually so that's pretty much the same thing (death should be watched first ftr) also do watch the japan animator expo tho a few of the shorts are more or less canon i guess and they're pretty great in general <cite>UF8 posted [p:955821643] in Evangelion... New content begins with 2.2 and 3.3.
