specialkid8 07/06/21 9:41:42 PM #1:	Battlefield has obviously never been renowned for its single player but BC2 was embarrassing. Bad Company set up likeable characters and a unique story with an open ended campaign that worked well as a tutorial for the multiplayer as well as just being a fun game with lots of explosions. With BC2 EA said "nah, fuck that. Just make a COD game". The characters weren't as fun, they were now "mature", it was linear as fuck, and the story was generic as hell. It may not be the worst one in the franchise by now but it started the COD knockoff campaigns. They sucked the humor out of multiplayer as well. The multiplayer was even worse. The maps were all narrow funnels that just lead to kill points rather than being able to flank around or maneuver. Not Battlefield at all. The classes sucked. Assault with infinite grenades? Medics with fucking LMG's? Recon with an artillery strike? Snipers with C4? Engineer with some of the best infantry weapons in the game? All class weapons that broke all the classes? Four classes in Battlefield is terrible and has been for over a decade now. And they added a garbage perk system to make it more like COD. On top of that it wasn't balanced for shit. Remember the Carl G? Explosives damaging MCOMMs but not being able to repair them. The circle strafing choppers. Out of bounds areas for tank sniping and regular sniping made it literally impossible to defend many MCOMMS. I really enjoyed the physics and how everything seemed destructible. Definitely not the worst game in the series, though. There was somethign a little off about it due to the lower scale but it was a ton of fun for what it was. Driving cars around and shooting out of the windows never got old. The single player was also one of the best in the series. EA forced them to turn the game they were making into a Battlefield game and they still made it not suck. This tells me it's all true and people actually liked it for these reasons because they have terrible taste. DepreceV2 07/06/21 10:53:40 PM #18:	I really disliked BFV but when it released I only had an Xbox One and the load times were like 10 minutes just for the game to have a bunch of issues. Only having 2 1 extra mag of ammo was a terrible design decision for example. I dropped it and havent played it since. Now I have a PC and Series X so it might be much better.
