it's so cool. i beat it for the first time tonight and immediately started again and played to the kendo gunshop scene just now. like a faster paced actioner version of re2make. i've seen a lot of people say it's not good since nemesis is scripted but it's so thrilling i don't see how you could care

Nemesis just should have been stalking you more. It was a primary drive of the original title and a huge part of what remake2 so addicting and scary.

there is fuck all of consequence removed from RE2Make and substantial addition, and its one of the best games of the decade.

your trepidation with 3Make is justified because they do remove a LOT and replace it with nothing at all, but stop pretending RE2 was gutted

Basically any time you entered an area the game rolled dice on whether Nemesis would surprise you. Sometimes IIRC he had multiple entry points into a level or could attack you midway through

The idea was to make it feel like how the RE2make tyrant actually chases you, on the limited hardware and software possibilities back when RE3 came out

No there wasn't, most of it just ended up being changed. Considering the moth was entirely avoidable in the first place it's not weird and got replaced with newer, better enemies. The moth was just annoying af and a time sink to make you retrace steps. Stop talking about a game you already admitted to not playing lol

It was less scripted than Mr. X; once Nemesis began following you he would pretty much continue stalking you until a confrontation/story beat.

Agreed. Don't know why Nemesis barely stalks in remake.
