Xenoblade 1 was stuck on the Wii and New 3DS, there were a ton of people who would have loved it who never were able to get it before (like me!). Also the graphical upgrade was... pretty necessary. They're Nintendo second-party, right? So they/Nintendo wouldn't have to even deal with anyone else like Namco to port Xenoblade X. That's what I meant. While not necessary I imagine Namco would likely want the blessing of Monolith/Takahashi in porting Xenosaga. But what are the costs associated with just doing straight ports of the original games as digital downloads, no disc releases.... surely it's negligible. I need to replay these games someday and I don't want to have to dust off my PS2, assuming it still works and ideally it does...!! Though now that I've bought a Switch and only heard good things about Xenoblade I'll pick up the DE someday.
