I saw a clip of what I assume was a late movie scene and it looked really bad. I'm still gonna see it but man, that shit looked bad.

Literally just started watching it.

Does it take place during/after Civil War? Cap and his friends are all on the run and Black Widow needs somewhere to go

definitely should've been done years ago anyways.

For real. my gf saw it with a friend because I had no interest and I'm pretty into the MCU. Knowing it was mostly set after Civil War I asked if it set up any future stuff and she mentioned that old woman from Falcon/Winter Soldier who recruits fake Cap showing up. Yaaaawn.

I kind of don't care that we didn't get it earlier, because at least they got to make the movie they wanted to make rather than one that was rushed out or didn't get the support it deserved.

So Natasha and her sister are talking about the murders they've done, and there's just some guy absent-mindedly sitting in the bodega while they do it.

Its not very big, he can obviously hear them.

And this movie wouldve been so much better in between the avengers films people right about that

And made her death more important in endgame

I haven't seen the movie so I don't know the context of the scene. Pugh was just looking down at Black Widow, says a dumb line, Black Widow says something like "no!" And then the thing explodes and they go flying

Its basically the end of the movie, after Black Widow feels like her past isn't a detriment anymore and is willing to accept that her family is her family and then her sister (Pugh) goes and tries to kamikaze herself out of vengeance for spending most of her life under mind control

that does happen but neither of them die

Just rented it on Disney+ a couple hours ago. Wasnt horrible, but it didnt really feel like a marvel movie. Had the underdeveloped bad guys, the bombastic set pieces and silly one liners and banter, but I dunno, I guess cause you know shes already dead there really isnt anything at stake. It felt like more of a made for Netflix action movie than a huge summer blockbuster. It may have been better in the theater, but not much.

I think the problem with that is it was a MCU movie and it came out after her character died.

Its basically a side story, so it doesn't really matter that its a prequel and you know she dies eventually, but this wouldn't be an issue if it either came out before Endgame or wasn't an MCU movie (which I mean, change some names around and it becomes a generic summer action blockbuster)

I think it also suffers from some bad CGI that isn't usually prominent in these movies. Things like the avalanche scene or the ship blowing up I thought just looked awful.

dont draw conclusions about how the plot goes from a trailer.

I had zero interest in watching this movie. But I did.. it was actually not that bad. Nothing special but still fun and enjoyable to watch.

i sa WW in a theater in December, Disney has no excuse waiting for theaters to open when they have been open for months

The movie is pretty inconsequential in terms of of Natasha or the MCU overall except for as an introduction of Yelena. But it was still a very enjoyable movie
