I have seen topic about how it is bad that the parents makes their kid study early, when they get their degree at age 11 an example. But the question is why is it bad? Thanks to that plan the kid can do other degree so he has multiple degree, which opens more option to what type of job he can get.

Lets face it sometimes there can be age discrimination, just because your old that could be the reason to not get employed. Jobs are normally looking for young employs.

They will be fucked up mentally if they dont have a true childhood

Look at Michael Jackson when he was still alive

The pressure to succeed can lead to great early success, but also quick burnout. As long as it comes from the kid, they will likely turn out fine, but there can certainly be pressure from relatives to go further beyond their comfort level.

Anytime someone is a musical prodigy pop star type, it never pans out. I can only think of 2; Stevie wonder and Michael Jackson. And MJ was mentally fucked.

so yeah I never trust any of the young pop stars careers, they never pan out

It's often bad because it can result in them not actually having a childhood and just being a kid.

the parents of a young prodigy might produce havoc in their life. many famous ones never learn to properly communicate and move around like a quiet storm while their parents become the infamous.

It usually doeasnt end well becuase it almost never works out for the children mentally in the long run.

That and their ability tends to peak at that point and come adulthood will become nothing special intellectual wise when their peers finally catch up.

I understand now why trying to rush a kid to become child prodigy is a bad thing, I wasn't aware how not having a normal childhood could be a bad thing.

Thanks everyone that answered many things I wasn't aware.

It either becomes two things. They succeed, but are fucked up mentally, or they become serial killers/sexual deviants.

It's probably cause it's usually mixed with mental abuse. Because most kids want to be kids and not feel like they have no freedom to be themselves, but instead, a full time job+. If you can keep your kid enjoying the hobby and motivated to excel in a field, that's amazing tho.

It's usually people pushing their kid to become the person they failed to be, regardless of what that kid wants for themselves

COVxy I don't know why you think that I am trolling, what I asked was a question which I got many answers which they all are good.

Now I am aware of the downside, meaning I have gained some knowledge from this thread.
