Brad Buxer and his band The Jetzons are responsible for the song Hard Times. Which was used in Sonic 3s Ice Cap Zone.
While nothing is confirmed, rumors point to Buxer not giving Sega the rights to his music. Which may be why Sonic 3 hasnt gotten a re-release in over a decade. Sega also stopped Christian Whitehead from remaking Sonic 3, even though he already did 1,2, and CD. Rumors also point to Sega using the beta music in the upcoming Sonic classic collection because of this situation. Now it looks like Buxer may be trolling with the re-release of Hard Times vinyl.
