Sorry for your inconvenience" Employees at Lincoln franchise said it's been understaffed for months while they worked in a kitchen with no A/C even as temps go as high as 90F Ex-General Manager, Rachael Flores said employees pulled the plug after she put in her 2 weeks notice and then 8 others followed She said "They wanted to put up a sign to say, you know, sorry there's really not goign to be anyone here. Just kind of laugh at upper management" They joked on July 9th to put up the sign telling customers the store wasn't open cause they all quit and they did it She said "I didn't think anyone was going to notice it, because we just did one sign. I got a call from upper management, and they told me i needed to take it down" But she said she couldn't take it down cause they were short staffed at which point they told her to leave. I've worked warehouse jobs with no AC before, but they all had fans all over the place and good circulation. Shit people quit jobs like this on a regular basis, most fast food places struggle to keep staff in even ideal conditions. Out of those 7, only 3 have clean and predictable food. I think some BK do not follow storage protocol or cooking protocol because they're bound to be getting the same inventory. The only thing I ever order there is the whopper or their chicken sandwiches. The ones near expensive areas usually can be trusted more. But I wouldn't count on it. We had a Wendy's in downtown Charlotte when I was a teen that was in the news because the owner wouldn't reprimand or fire these girls that would be mean to the customers. It was some race thing looking back. They put a cop in there and for years it was never a problem. It happened right around 2000 to 2001. People would come in there looking for a fight. They tried to burn it down, it closed for a few months and reopened with completely new staff. I'll always remember that day because I listening to that song "Drive" by Incubus on the way to night school after it reopened. Damn, I wish I could go back. Potholes and broken pavement in the parking lots, trash everywhere, broken or malfunctioning signs, and heavy employee turnover.
